[Brief] Men’s varsity soccer defeats Coral Springs High School 1-0

On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the men’s varsity soccer team won against Coral Springs High School with a score of 1-0.

The colts applied pressure during the first half of the game, with 19 shots in total, but the eagles held strong. Goalkeeper Dillon Mcooty saved four attempted goals, protecting the eagles from potentially losing their winning streak to Coral Springs.

The eagles picked up the pace in the second half of the game as the colts began to lose their momentum. Daniel Medeiros (10) was selected as player of the game after scoring the game-winning shot, assisted by Elad Yair (10). The team defeated their opponents, lengthening their overall record to 8-0.

The eagles’ next game is a home game against Spanish River High School on Dec. 7 at 5 p.m.
