Men’s varsity cross country team places fourth at Boca Bobcat Invitational

On Sept. 21 the mens varsity cross country team participated in the annual Boca Bobcat Invitational hosted by Boca Raton High School. The meet took place at South County Regional Park, starting at 8:00 a.m.

“I feel that our team did the best that we could that day. We went up against some pretty tough teams.” sophomore Landon Kefford said. “We are all very happy that we placed fourth overall.”

MSD placed fourth out of a shocking twenty-two teams. Senior Jorge Zapata placed in the top ten.

“Our team performed very well. This course has always been an easy way to get a personal record.” sophomore Connor Greep said. “The conditions were also really good to run compared to other meets.”

The next meet will take place on Sept. 26 at 4:30 p.m. at L&P Thompson Park in Miami.
