On Friday, Feb. 4, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School will host the seventh annual Black History Month show. Entitled “Rise Up: A Looking Glass Into Black Culture,” the show is put on by the MSD Black Student Union. The show will feature a variety of dances, poems, solos, musical showcases and more.

The show will take place in the MSD auditorium with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show beginning at 7:00 p.m. Student tickets retail for $8.00 and adult tickets retail for $10.00.

In addition to the nighttime showcase, students will have the opportunity to see Act 1 of the show during first period and Act 2 during second period.
