[Brief] Men’s varsity volleyball takes on Deerfield Beach High School in season opener

At 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, the men’s volleyball team took on the Bucks from Deerfield Beach High School at home.

The team played three sets. With a score resulting in 3-0, the Eagles fought hard in each set but just fell short of beating the Bucks.

“Overall we played decent game,” middle back Keyshawn Cole (3) said. “We just need to work on understanding who needs to do what. We did well in the first set, but slipped up in the second and third,”

The Eagles look forward to playing again Feb. 27 at 4:30 p.m. at Northeast High School.
