[Brief] Women’s JV basketball loses last game of the season

On Monday, Jan. 22 the Lady Eagles JV basketball team played in their last game of the season. The team lost to Deerfield High School with a score of 50-13.

Leading the team, Sephora Bazile (55) scored six points. Right behind her, Chelsea Watts (24) scored five points. Rounding up their points, M’Kalia Brown (33) scored two.

“It’s been a long and tough season, but we have tried our hardest,” Watts said. “We are truly a family, and I am very proud of all of us.”

Over the course of the season, the team has overcome the obstacles of the different grades, ages and abilities, resulting in multiple wins for the team
