[Brief] Women’s JV basketball loses by one point to Coral Springs

On Friday, Dec. 15, the Lady Eagles junior varsity basketball team lost 30-29 against Coral Springs High School.

Scoring 16 points, Sammy Fisher (4) lead the team. Right behind her, Kristina Longley (34) scored 11 points. Finishing the game, Mackenzie Alt (30) scored 2 points.

“I was so upset that we lost since we came so close,” Fisher said. “But, I was also very proud of myself and the team for trying our best.”

The Lady Eagles’ next game is on Jan. 9 in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School gym against J.P. Taravella High School at 4:00 p.m.
