[Brief] Women’s JV Soccer defeats Deerfield Beach High School

On Saturday, Dec. 9 at 10:00 a.m., the Women’s Junior Varsity Soccer Team took on Deerfield Beach High School at the DBHS field. The Lady Eagles defeated the Bucks with a final score of 8-0.

Katelyn Gomez (24) brought in three goals, one assisted by Francesca Lozano (9). Molly Marks (18) scored two goals with assists from Nicole Gutierrez (19) and Megan Hall (22). Chloe Rogers (8), Emily Burke (16) and Raquel Alvarado (7) also brought in one goal each.

“We played really well even when the weather and the condition of the field was against us. As a team we created a lot of opportunities for goals and the score showed that.” team captain Gomez said.

The MSD Lady Eagles will play their next game Dec. 9 at 12:40 p.m. at DBHS against St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
