[Brief] Women’s varsity lacrosse team rolls over Spanish River High School

On March 12, the women’s varsity lacrosse played in a home game against Spanish River High School. The game started at 5 p.m.

“The game went better than we were expected,” defender Gabby Fisher (4) said. “We lost to Spanish River last year so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I think we played well. We had good team work.”

The lady eagles won the game with a score of 17-6.

“We will never quit and will always keep pushing ourselves,” midfielder Lauren Figas (12) said.

The next game will take place on March 14 against St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
