[Brief] Women’s varsity volleyball team loses to Western High School

On Sept. 17, the women’s varsity volleyball team lost to Western High School.

The eagles won the first set 25-18. The five sets played had an almost even amount of victories for both teams. However, the eagles failed to win the last set, losing 7-15.

“We did our best to keep our score up. We communicated a lot better this time,” libero Sofia Cheremeta (2) said.

Although they played hard until the end, their efforts failed to secure a victory.

“We just will have to recoup and figure out the game plan for our next game,” Cheremeta said.

Their next game is Sept. 20 at Monarch High School at 7 p.m.
