Eagles JV football team beat Coral Springs High School

On Tuesday, Sept.24, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas JV Football team played their third game of the season against Coral Springs High School.

The Eagles won the game with a score of 21-0. Sophomore Keondre Edge scored one touchdown and freshman Marquis Floyd scored two touchdowns. Sophomore Thoermer Bendix, was three for three on extra points.

“We have been practicing all summer for this game. We would lift, condition and go into pads to go over plays to prepare us for the season.” sophomore Anthony Touris said. “For this season, our coaches have pushed us to where it is making us a better team then we have been in the past.”

The next game will be held on Tuesday, Oct.1, against Coral Glades High School.
