Men’s varsity cross country team takes first place in their second BCAA meet

       On Sept. 11, the Mens Varsity cross country team ran their second BCAA meet at Quiet Waters Park. The race started at 4:30 p.m. The MSD Eagles went against some challenging teams throughout the meet.

      “I think as a team, we ran very well today. We had seven runners in the top ten, and a lot of us ran personal records.” sophomore Connor Greep said. “Overall we all put a lot of effort in our races and it paid us off with a win.”

     The mens varsity cross country team ran into their first-place victory out of four schools. As the top boys easily took the top six places.

     “My race was great! I was eight seconds off from my personal best of 19:34.” junior Brett Lickerman said. “I’m so glad that we won this meet. This really shows me that our team has the potential to make it to States. I am really excited about that.”

         The next meet will take place on Sept. 17 located at Tradewinds Park. The meet will start at 4:30 p.m.
