Mens varsity golf holds tryouts for the new season

On August 19th, mens varsity golf held tryouts at the Coral Springs Country Club for people who wanted to be apart of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas’s golf team. The coaches had them play nine holes to see what skills they have, and what they can bring to the team.

“The tryouts went great! There are a lot of new freshman with tons of talent, and the kids coming back got better over the summer. Looks like it’s gonna be a good season,” sophomore Andres Barraza said.

The official list will be posted soon with the players who made it on the team and the first tournament will be held on August 26th at the Coral Springs Country Club against Coral Glades.
