MSD men’s varsity baseball team ties in first preseason match against Coral Springs High


On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the MSD varsity baseball team played their first preseason game against Coral Springs High School. This game was the first match under the lights of the Anthony Rizzo field, rendering it a special night for the Eagles.

The game ended in a tie, with a final score of 3-3.

“It was great to get out there and get the first game out of the way and we are only going to improve from here,” senior Colin Flynn said. 

The next game is also a preseason home match at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, against North Broward Prep School. The regular season begins the following Tuesday on Feb. 18, at home against Western High School at 6:30 p.m.
