On Thursday, Feb. 20, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School men’s varsity lacrosse team went up against J.P. Taravella High School for a home game. The game started at 5 p.m.
The Eagles defeated their rivals with a final score of 11-1.
“Taravella has a great program and definitely put up a fight. Although they have a great program we still won by a great lead to the heart of our players and the guidance from our head coaches.” sophomore Landon Reuter (30) said.
Their next game is on Monday, Feb. 24, at 5 p.m. against Coral Springs High School at Cumber Stadium.
Julianne LoFurno is a junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and is a Sports Editor for the Eagle Eye. She is on the MSD varsity women's lacrosse team, and enjoys traveling and drinking lots of iced coffee.
