MSD men’s varsity lacrosse team defeats Coral Glades in first season game

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School men’s varsity lacrosse team played their first district game against Coral Glades High School at Coral Glades High School at 4 p.m.

The game ended in a win, with a final score of 18-0. Landon Reuter #30, Ryan Patton #22, and Austin Horowitz #29 were the leading goal scorers for the game.

“It was a complete shutout as we won 18 to zero. This was our first away game making us 1-0. We handled ourselves well and did not let the score dictate our play as we were calm and content the entire game once it was over we all shook hands and celebrated our victory.” sophomore Landon Reuter said.

The Eagles’ next game is on Friday, Feb. 20, at Cumber Stadium at 5 p.m. against J.P. Taravella High School.
