MSD men’s varsity soccer team beats Western High

On Monday, Nov. 18, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas men’s varsity soccer team played in their second game of the season. The game was against Western High School at Cumber Stadium.

There were a lot of close calls throughout the match but MSD played very well, with a final score of 1-0. Center back Andrew Oliveria scored the winning goal.

“We played a lot better than we did in our first game and we really showed what type of team we can really be.” Right wing Jimmy Bolger said.

The MSD Eagles play again on Thursday, Nov. 21 against South Broward High School at Cumber Stadium, at 5 p.m.
