MSD wins playoff opener against SW Broward

MSD Hockey had a strong 2019-2020 regular season and they took that 14-5-1 record with power into the playoffs.

The first matchup occurred on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The opponent was, for the fourth time this season, Southwest Broward.

The fourth game too, for the fourth time this season, ended in an MSD victory.

Tallying seven goals, MSD won 7-1 against SW Broward in an offensive explosion that definitely set the tone for the entire playoffs.

“Our offense was aggressive and on point tonight and we finished off the chances that we got. It was a great game and we will definitely look to build off of it going forward” senior Sam Hendler (13) said.

Up next will be a match on Monday, Feb. 3 against Miami-Dade at the Panthers Ice Den.
