Errors

The Eagle Eye always strives for accurate reporting and will correct any significant errors. If you believe we have made an error in an article, please let us know. When factual errors occur, we will both correct the error and update the article to include a statement of correction.

Letters to The Editor

We want to hear your opinions. Send us a letter that includes your opinion about a school, local, state, national or global issue. The Eagle Eye also welcomes letters about how you think school newspaper is doing or about the stories we have reported.

Letters to the Editors should be between 100-250 words in length and can be emailed to [email protected] OR submitted using this form.

Letters to the editor will be verified by a member of the editorial board to determine the authenticity of the writer. The Eagle Eye does not accept unsigned letters to the editor.

No material will be printed where content is obscene, invasive of others’ privacy, encouraging physical disruption of school activities and/or implies libel.

The Eagle Eye editorial board reserves the right to withhold a letter or column or other submission and/OR return it for revision if it contains unprotected speech or grammatical errors that could hamper its meaning.

The Eagle Eye will only publish one letter, per author, per print issue.

All letters to the editor become the property of The Eagle Eye upon receipt and will not be returned to the author.

Story Ideas

Do you have a story idea for the The Eagle Eye? Would you like us to cover an upcoming event? Include all relevant details—date, time, location, etc. The earlier you send us information about an event, the more likely that we will be able to send a reporter to cover the story.
