On Sep. 17, the Stoneman Douglas Womens varsity volleyball team went up against Pompano Beach High School. The away game started at 4:30 p.m. at Pompano Beach’s home field.
The team won in four sets, with a score of 3-1. The very last set played had a score of 27-25, securing another win for the girls.
“We played very well and had so much energy. We were able to take all of the negative comments and calls, and use it to our advantage, which made us play more intense,” sophomore Jillian Carroll said.
The next game will be held on Sep. 23, against Piper at 4:30 p.m.
