Another week, another shutout for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School varsity football team.
This past Thursday, Oct. 17, the MSD Eagles went on the road to Nova High School in Davie, Fl. and came back victorious.
Mounting a 32-0 win was another big step for the Eagles, who moved to 7-0 on the season.
“Having back to back shutouts has really given the defense confidence going into the district championship game and state playoffs,” said Quarterback Matt O’Dowd (4).
The defense and offense played extremely sharp, as the Eagles head into their last two regular season matchups: a road game against Coral Glades High School on Thursday, Oct. 24 and a home game against Plantation High School on Friday, Nov. 1.
The Eagles plan to stack wins and gain momentum as they head towards the playoffs.
