Coming off of senior night, the MSD Eagles Varsity Hockey team still faced two remaining games: Boca Raton and Spanish River.
The first of these two would take place in Lake Worth and turned out to be as successful as one could hope for.
MSD had a slow start in the last game and this would not be repeated in the battle with Boca.
The Eagles led with four goals at the closing of three periods at a 6-2 spread.
Boca Raton High proved no test for the Eagles and the shellacking gives MSD much needed momentum moving into the playoffs.
“This was a key win and I feel great about our chances in the playoffs. It is now time for us to take the next step and beat the teams who got us throughout the season and earn the right to keep playing” senior Ethan Bohm (23) said.
MSD’s next matchup will occur at the Pines Ice Arena on Monday, Jan. 27. This will be the final game of the regular season.
