MSD varsity hockey accumulated two big wins in the last week to advance to the finals of the playoffs.
This round would come in the form of a three game matchup against North Broward Prep School. All of the games would be held at the Ice Den at 8:45, as well.
The first game was not a great start to the series for MSD who got belted from the start.
Stoneman Douglas fell down by a score of 4-0.
The team would rally a bit but ultimately face defeat with a final score of 5-2.
“This is a tough one but we’ll be back here tomorrow to try to slay this giant,” senior Ethan Bohm (23) said.
The next game will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 5 against NBP again at the Ice Den once more at 8:45 p.m. MSD needs to win this next game in order to keep their season alive.
