On Thursday, Feb. 13, the Stoneman Douglas varsity baseball team competed against North Broward Prep High School in the last game before the regular season, at home.
The Eagles crushed their competition, with a final score of 9-0, including runs from seniors Jhan Ledezma, Coby Mayo, Javian Serrano and sophomores, Chris Arroyo and Roland Lujo.
“We’re just getting started, it’s going to be real hard to beat us once we’re on full go. The young guys are stepping up,” catcher Jhan Ledezma said.
The team will continue into the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at home, against the Western High Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.
