On Thursday, Feb. 20, the Stoneman Douglas varsity baseball team challenged Calvary Christian Academy at home.
The match ended in a 7-6 win, with the Eagles taking a 3-0 lead in the second inning.
“If we play how we did on Thursday we will be very hard to beat. We played to our best and nobody will stop us if we continue to play like that,” junior Chris McKenna (21) said.
McKenna had one run during the game, along with one run by seniors Jhan Ledezma and Coby Mayo, two by sophomore Rolando Lujo, and two by senior Carter Brady.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, MSD will battle Pembroke Pines Charter School, on the Eagles’ home field, at 6:30 p.m.
