This week’s Crumbl lineup featured fan favorite flavors, S’mores, Milk Chocolate Chip, Hazelnut Churro, Vanilla Sugar and Buckeye Brownie as well as the new flavor Cake Batter Blondie.

The flavors of this week are some of the best there have been in awhile. The combination of all the flavors worked really well together, and delivered a tasty treat. However, one flavor did not meet the expectations of the others.

To start off, S’mores was quite underwhelming with expectations of a greater flavor that unfortunately fell flat. It felt too similar to a traditional chocolate chip cookie to have resembled a s’more. There was little to no taste of graham cracker, and the marshmallow center was lackluster to say the least. Regardless of it not tasting much like a s’more, the cookie itself was not bad, it just did not meet the expectations planned. Overall, it’s a mere 5/10.

On the other hand, a pleasant surprise was the Cake Batter Blondie. It felt like the perfect combination of sweet without reaching an overpowering taste. It had a nice presentation with sprinkles around the edges and white gooey chocolate chips in the center. This cookie personally blew it out of the water for me, and it’s definitely worth a taste, giving it a rating of 9/10.

Buckeye Brownie, one of Crumbl’s recurring flavors, has a rich chocolate brownie cookie topped with chocolate fudge and peanut butter. This one is definitely for the chocolate and peanut butter fans because it has such a strong and overpowering flavor. It’s not a cookie for everyone, but it’s worth a try. Therefore, the cookie definitely deserves a 7/10.

Another flavor that was well executed was Hazelnut Churro. Although not a new flavor, it never disappoints. It has a resemblance of a snickerdoodle, a cinnamon cookie with a cinnamon sugar coating and a chocolate hazelnut cream inside. It’s crispy on the exterior yet warm and gooey in the interior. It delivers an interesting combination of flavors between the chocolate, hazelnut and cinnamon. Overall, this cookie is one of the best cookies made by Crumbl. I would rate it a 9/10 as well, as it was really good but not perfect.

This week’s lineup of flavors was truly great, and personally one of my favorites. The flavors really worked together, and it felt the best cookie’s execution, and not one of the cookies felt out of place. If any of these flavors return to Crumbl, it’ll definitely be worth another try as it surpassed my expectations.
