Sophomore Max Grinko represented his grade level in the “Mr. Douglas” event. He received the Best Performance award for his piano playing abilities.

I volunteered to participate in Mr. Douglas. First off, the service hours are pretty good and just meeting new people. I’m going to be playing piano because I enjoy it. Getting ready to perform on stage is probably the hardest part about preparing for this competition. I think I’m just better than all the other competitors and that my talent is gonna be better.
