Senior Charles Dellaira competed in the “Mr. Douglas” competition last year as a junior and again this year as a senior. He won the crown after receiving the most votes from the judges and audience.

I was chosen to participate in Mr. Douglas because Ms. Briggs thought I had a good personality for it and I decided to participate because I thought it would be another cool thing to add to my high school achievements. When I practiced, I tried a bunch of things I thought would be good and funny and put it all together in an act. There was no hard part about preparing because I’m with my friends having fun. My favorite part is putting it all together, I just want to be as different as I can and to make everyone laugh.
