On Monday, Dec. 11, the men’s varsity soccer team won an away game against West Broward High School with a score of 1-0.
Both teams were evenly matched in the first half of the game, with neither scoring a goal. Then, midfielder Bruno Sperandio (6) scored the game-winning goal with an assist from team captain Daniel Medeiros (10) in the second half of the game.
Staying strong until the end, the team managed to secure their 10th consecutive victory of the season against their opponents. Sperandio was also named player of the game for his spontaneous goal.
The eagles’ next match is also an away game, where they will be facing Wellington High School at 8 p.m. on Dec. 14.
