On Friday, Feb. 8, the lady eagles soccer team suited up to face the Boca High Bobcats in the regional semifinals.
The lady eagles played defensively, however, the ball came into more contact with the Bobcats.
The game cost seven dollars and the stands were filled with fans from both sides. Teachers came to support their student athletes and friends came to cheer on their peers in hope of securing a win..
For many players, this was a sentimental game. This was seniors Jordan Strauss and Jamie Morris last chance to play on their home field. The team is ranked 36 nationally, with Strauss committed to Western Kentucky University where she will play soccer for the class of 2023.
The score was 1-0 Boca, meaning that the team will not proceed any further in the playoffs.
