On Monday, August 19 the Marjory Stoneman Douglas womens varsity volleyball team played against Coral Springs High School. This was their first match of the season.
While last year it took the Eagles five sets to beat Coral Springs, this year they were defeated in only three.
“Everyone on the team is so amazing and talented at what they do. We work really well together and have a really strong bond. I’m so proud of us and can’t wait for a great season,” freshman Jordyn Robertson (11) said.
The next game is on August 21 against South Plantation.
