On Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 8 a.m., the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Womens varsity golf team competed in The Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA) Championship at the Woodmont Country Club.
MSD won the countywide match and brought home the trophy in 18 holes.
“This is my second year playing on the team and I am looking forward to the next two years,” sophomore Madison Lenard said. “Our biggest competitions this year were against American Heritage and Archbishop McCarthy. We won twice and lost once against American Heritage and beat Archbishop McCarthy.”
The next match will be a home match against Cardinal Gibbons High School at Eagle Trace Golf Club on Monday, Oct. 7, at 3:30 p.m.
