A mere 9 days after a passionate 4-2 win for MSD against Boca High at the Ice Den, the two teams would face off again but this time in Lake Worth.
This game, played on Sunday, Nov. 24, was a lot less close and a lot bigger of a victory for Stoneman Douglas hockey.
A 4-0 shellacking of the Boca bobcats included goals from notable seniors like Sam Hendler who are trying to make history this year.
“With this win, we now sit at 6-3 and have a long road ahead of us, but we are willing to grind to achieve greatness. Especially cause this is my last year, all my hopes lie within this one season,” said Hendler (13).
MSD’s hockey program has experienced unique heights in recent years, but this season’s team is determined to continue to push the bounds of possibility.
The next game will be played tomorrow, Monday Nov. 25, against SW Broward.
