On Tuesday, Jan. 7, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School women’s varsity basketball team challenged Flanagan High School.
They lost with a resulting score of 63-36.
“Playing against Flanagan tonight was really tough; I scored 10 points and felt proud of the way the girls played and how supportive we were of each other. We are a team and after each loss we take it as a lesson so we can improve for the next game,” senior Emily Cashion said.
The next game will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8 against Fort Lauderdale High School.
