On Thursday, January 16, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas women’s varsity basketball team encountered a loss against Cardinal Gibbons High School. The final score of the game was 58-15.
They also applauded seniors and had their very own senior night.
“Tonight was very important to me and a few other seniors, we have grown and become so close to each other and it’s upsetting to know this will be our last year playing together. Although we lost, I am very grateful to play with such amazing people,” senior Asa Dykes said.
The next game will be held on Friday, January 17, against Pompano Beach High School.
