On Friday, January 17, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas women’s varsity basketball team played away against Cooper City High School.
They won with a close final score of 41-40.
“Tonight’s game was really close, but I’m proud of the girls for putting their best effort and focus on the game. It felt good to finally have a win after playing roughly during the past couple of games, now we hope to play really well during the next games,” senior Madison Goodman said.
The next game will be held on Tuesday, January 21, against Pompano Beach High School.
