As 2025 kicks off, a new wave of concerts and tours hit the stage worldwide, with the music industry’s biggest names traveling to various regions. Fans get to experience many of these live performances around the globe.
From April 19 to June 6, 2025, Kendrick Lamar and SZA will perform their Grand National Tour across North America. Lamar’s sixth album, “GNX,” and SZA’s album, “SOS Deluxe: LANA,” will be played. Their joint songs, like “luther” and “All the Stars,” are expected to be performed, just as they were during this year’s Super Bowl halftime show starring Lamar and featuring SZA.
SZA and Lamar will be going to cities such as Atlanta, Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and Detroit. They will be playing for two nights at the MetLife Stadium outside of New York City on May 8 and 9, and the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on May 21 and 23. Tickets went online on Dec. 5, 2024, at 10 p.m. on the Grand National Tour website.
The Grand National Tour will be the first time both artists tour together, even though they have been close friends and collaborators for years. They share major hits like “All the Stars” and “luther.”
The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour will feature his latest album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” and take place from May 9 to Sep. 3. This is supposedly his last concert under the name The Weeknd. Many people flocked to find tickets as they quickly sold out.
“I wanted to see him because I love the Weeknd’s music,” freshman Brooke Burle said. “I think the tickets sold out fast because he’s a really popular artist. The Weeknd’s currently on tour with Playboi Carti, and people would want to see both of them live as they are really good performers.”
Tickets for the After Hours Til Dawn Tour went on sale on Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. and were available at the Minneapolis Theater and on The Weeknd’s official tour website.
Tyler, The Creator’s Chromakopia World Tour started on Feb. 4 and will continue all the way through July 28. The album dropped on Oct. 28, 2024, becoming Tyler’s eighth released album. The album was inspired by growing up and the challenges and choices that accompany it.
The tour has thus far featured guests like Paris Texas and Lil Yachty, with concert locations in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets went on sale on Nov. 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. on the tour website.
So far, Tyler has played songs from previous albums like “IGOR” and “Call Me If You Get Lost.” He also featured songs such as “See You Again (feat Kali Uchis)” and “New Magic Wand.”
Lasting from Sep. 29, 2024, to July 27, 2025, Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour has thus far been a fan favorite. Her album “Hit Me Hard and Soft” dropped on May 17, 2024, and focuses on themes of love, heartbreak and loss.
Eilish’s tour will include performances in a wide range of places, such as Quebec, Canada and Dublin, Ireland, the latter of which will be the last show of the tour. Finneas, Eilish’s brother, has not been touring with her like he usually does since he has been focusing on his own tour, which has similar dates.
Extending from the U.S. all the way to Australia, the tours of many highly revered music artists will be accessible to fans globally over the course of 2025. These artists are hitting the road to perform, committed to delivering their fans a fantastic show and once in a lifetime experience.
