On Thursday, Dec. 7, the lady eagles varsity basketball team won their away game against Coconut Creek High School. The final score of the game was 66-54.
The top three scorers for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School included team captain Abbey Hsu (35) with 24 points, Taylor Thompson (2) with 18 points and Nathalia Balderrama (13) with 15 points.
“It was a close, intense game with a great environment and lots of intensity from the other team,” Hsu said. “I really enjoy exciting games like these.”
The next game for the lady eagles will be against Monarch High School on the MSD courts on Friday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
