On Friday, Nov. 29 the men’s varsity basketball team hosted Boyd Anderson High School Cobras for their home opener.
The final score of the game was 41-50. The Cobras outplayed the Eagles on offense and defense, ultimately winning the game.
Friday’s game was a non-conference game for the Eagles.
“We need to do a better job scoring when we have opportunities and stop the other team when they go on a run,” coach Orlando McCorvey said.
The Eagles struggled offensively in the second quarter scoring one point while the cobras scored 16. Defensively the Eagles struggled to get rebounds and make blocks.
Point Guard (5) Rj Rowe stood out offensively, scoring 11 points shooting 40 percent from the field.
The eagles will travel to Deerfield Beach High school Dec. 4 to take on the Bucks.
