On Dec. 7 the men’s varsity basketball team went up against the Coral Glades High School Jaguars.
The final score of the game was 68-56. The Eagles outplayed the Jaguars on offense and defense easily winning the game.
The game against the Jaguars was a big conference win for the Eagles, moving them one game closer to districts.
“We played really good as a team tonight and made plays happen when opportunities opened up,” coach Orlando McCorvey said.
The Eagles played well offensively throughout the game accumulating a total of 68 points. Defensively the Eagles did a good job getting rebounds and making blocks.
Point Guard Rj Rowe (5) stood out offensively, as well as center Robert Lamour (1).
The Eagles will host the J.P. Taravella High School Trojans Dec. 11 and hope to win another conference game.
