On Thursday, December 5, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas women’s varsity basketball team played against West Broward High School.
They received their first win of the season with a score of 58-21.
“I’m really proud of myself and the girls. We played a really good game today, all the practice and bonding really made a difference. We had each other’s backs and stayed focused, we hope to continue playing this well throughout the season,” senior Emily Cashion said.
The next game will take place on Tuesday, December 10 against Cypress Bay High School.
