Review: It’s all Greek to me

images-1

If you are looking for a taste of Greece, then Ethos Greek Bistro is the place to go.

Greek small plates and entrees are offered in a sleek, modern space with indoor and outdoor seating. Ethos includes a bar, online ordering and takeout but not delivery.

At Ethos, there is a diverse menu with some of the best the dishes including the Greek Yogurt and Cucumber Spread, the Ethos Platter with Falafel and the Garden Pasta.

“The menu has a great variety of things to choose from. It is always hard for me to decide what to get because it all looks so good, but when i really can’t make a decision, I always resort to my absolute favorite: Taste of Ethos Platter,” sophomore Sophia Scalia said.

The food can be made to any recommendation and all the salads can have Brozini (Sea Bass), Skirt Steak, seared Tuna, Shrimp, Salmon, Chicken, Calamari, Gyro or marinated Chickpeas added.

My favorite dishes include the Greek salad with marinated chickpeas and the Garden Pasta. The salad is always fresh and it is a healthy option. In the Garden Pasta, the vegetables are delicious and cooked to perfection.

Some of their typical sides include Sweet Fries, Wedged Fries, Spinach Rice, Rosemary Red Potatoes, Seasonal Veggies and Grilled Veggies.

Desserts such as Baklava, Greek Yogurt, Ekmek and Triple Layer Cheesecake are also offered.

The second location is popular for people in the Wilton Manors area and is usually busy on the weekends.

Unfortunately, due to the intimate, boutique setting, they are unable to take reservations but, a short wait is not usually a problem for customers.

“When waiting for a table, the wait is never an issue. The employees are quick to find a seat for anyone and I’ve never waited for over 10 minutes,” sophomore Sophia Esposito said.

The waiters and waitresses are always super attentive and helpful if a customer has a question about the menu or needs something. They always bring out the food as soon as possible so, it is fresh and ready to eat.

“The food is always so tasty and fresh. I have never received a meal that I didn’t love and it always comes out exactly how I requested,” junior Alexa Miednik said.

This Greek Bistro is one-of-a-kind and one should definitely head over and try it because it certainly isn’t something to miss.
