On March 8, the men’s water polo team played district rival Plantation High in an away game at 6:30 p.m. They won in a runaway victory, with a final 20-2 score.
“It was a fairly easy game,” Captian Joey Wong said, “We worked mainly on strategy and passing, rather then trying to score the most goals.”
Daniel Rivera (15), Areeb Sidduqui (11) and Charles Lambeth (5) lead the team with three goals a piece and Wong (21) scored two goals. Kyle Jones (1) had a total of ten blocks and two goals. Joe Ciminna (6), Trevor Berkson (12), William Berk (18), Patricio Klajner (19) all scored one goal each.
The teams next game is March 10 against Westminster Academy, at Westminster and starts at 4:30 p.m. for women’s and 5:30 p.m. for men’s.
