On Saturday, Nov. 18 at 10:00 a.m., the women’s junior varsity soccer team took on the McArthur High School Cardinals on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School field. The Lady Eagles defeated the Cardinals with a score of 8-0.
Katelyn Gomez (24) brought in three goals for the team with assists from Alyssa Alhadeff (4), Raquel Alvarado (7) and Mia Newberg (3). Alvarado, Alhadeff, Molly Marks (18), Emily Burke (16) and Rebecca Marks (10) each brought in one goal.
“The team did really well. We were able to connect and finish the ball. It was a good game.” team captain Kayla Conn (12) said.
The MSD Lady Eagles have their next game later today at 2:00 p.m. against Pompano Beach High School.
