On Monday, Dec. 11 at 5:00 p.m. on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas home field, the Lady Eagles junior varsity soccer team took on the Lightnings from Cypress Bay High School.
The Lady Eagles tied with the Lightnings with no points scored for either team.
“I was super happy on how we performed today, we were super aggressive and we played as a team,”” team captain Katelyn Gomez (24) said. “All of our hard work showed tonight and it was nice seeing our team work together like that.”
The MSD Lady Eagles play their next home game on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 10:00 a.m. against Pines Charter High School.
