On Monday, Sept. 24, the women’s varsity volleyball team faced defeat, losing to Pembroke Pines Charter. The game was played at home and the stands were packed.
The Eagles played three sets and lost every set.
“We were not expecting for the game to be that intense,” setter and defensive specialist Katherine Heffner (5) said.
The Eagles have been working on their communication skills in hopes of making better contact with the ball.
Their next game is home, on Sept. 25 against Coral Glades High School.
