by

On Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 4:30 p.m., the junior varsity soccer team took on Boca Raton High School at their home field. The Lady Eagles defeated the Bobcats with a final score of 2-0.

Katelyn Gomez (24) brought in both goals for the team with assists from Mia Newberg (3) and Rebecca Marks (10).

“We played well and aggressive the whole game. After the first goal everyone wanted to win and we stayed in that mindset for the whole game which led to our success,” midfielder Newberg said.

The MSD Lady Eagles will have their next away game at Deerfield Beach High School on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 10:00 a.m.

Dara Rosen is a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. She has been on the Eagle Eye staff for three years and is currently one of the Editors-In-Chief. She will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University next fall to study journalism where she hopes to also minor in political science.
