[Brief] Men’s Varsity Hockey beats Cypress Bay

On Sunday, Nov. 12th, the Men’s Varsity Hockey Team played against Cypress Bay High School at 2:30 p.m. at the Florida Panther’s IceDen. The MSD Eagles defeated the Cypress Bay Lightning with a final score of 4-1.

Joey Zenobi (5) had the most goals this game scoring 2 goals to put the Eagles ahead. Ross Zoutte (97) scored a goal for the team with an assist from Zenobi. Making the final score 4-1, Matt Hauptman (47) scored for his team finishing off the game.

“We played team hockey, playing our best hockey taking a win over Cypress Bay,” forward Zoutte said.

The team has their next game Nov. 13, at 7:00 p.m. against Cypress Bay High School at the Florida Panther’s IceDen.
