On Sept. 18 the MSD Women’s Varsity Swim and Dive team had their second meet against St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

MSD lost by a score of 68 and STA won by a score of 118.

“The meet went really well. I’m really proud of a lot of the new swimmers that were super nervous. They all handled the atmosphere really well,” sophomore Ray Young said. “I saw a whole lot of support for each other which is a really good foundation for the team to be built on. I think the season is getting better and better.”

Their next meet will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 25, against Coral Glades High School.
