MSD JV football team shutout by Deerfield Beach High School

On October 10, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas JV football team played their fifth game of the season against Deerfield Beach High School.

The Eagles lost the game with a score of 50-0.

The Eagles had only two first downs and ended every drive in a punt attempt. On two of those attempted punts, the snaps were mishandled, which gave the Bucks excellent field position.

“We had a very hard time passing and running the ball. We couldn’t really get anything going. Our team was out of sync and we were not focused this week,” Sophomore Ethan Cruz said. “Now we have to move forward and practice a lot harder in order to bounce back from this loss.”

The next game is on October 30, against Monarch High School.
