After getting out of first period on Wednesday, Dec. 4 juniors Micha-Leigh Patterson and Zayda-Ley Patterson hand blood drive forms to MSD JROTC members. JROTC held a blood drive on Wednesday, Dec. 4, and students who wanted to participate had to fill out forms about their age, weight and parent permission. "I wanna help people because someone needs blood everyday," Patterson said.

As a result of the new financial literacy graduation requirement, MSD has shifted the order of social studies classes. Freshmen will take world history, sophomores will take government and law studies, juniors will take U.S. history and seniors will take economics and financial literacy.
